All About Angels

  • Angels Away!

I just got some great news that will help keep me warm for the rest of the frigid northern winter. This summer I’m going on a four-night “Bask in the Bahamas” cruise, where I’ll play host to friends of ANGELS ON EARTH and GUIDEPOSTS who want to join me for some fun in the sun.

  • “Geaux Saints!”

There’s a lot of that going around at home in New Orleans this week. Along with a whole lotta prayers for the Saints to win the NFC Championship game in the Superdome this Sunday.

I just wish my Mam-maw and Gramps were around to see it. They renewed their season tickets to the Saints games for years and got to know all the season ticket holders around them.

  • Praying for Angels to Surround Them

It was hard reading the paper this morning in the aftermath of Haiti’s devastating earthquake. All those desperate people, feeling safer outside in the streets for fear that whatever buildings remained standing would crumble in the aftershocks.

  • Cheers!

One week into 2010 and I'm off to a good start on my resolutions!

This year I intend to eat better, exercise more and think positive—to do my best to keep a healthy mind and body.

I've started a weight-bearing exercise class (good for the bones) at the YMCA and love it. And I've added a few leafy greens to my diet (it's a start for me, a former peas-only person in the greens department).
