I work with the homeless in Chicago. It inspires me to meet some of these people with no way to provide for their own basic needs who still have faith that God will get them through. It makes me realize how blessed I am to have a home, food in my cupboard, a family to support me during times of stress and a God who loves us all regardless of what we do or don't have.

My grandchildren inspire me because they are so positive and they show such incredible maturity in their Christianity. I am so proud of them. We tend to hear more about the negative things teenagers do, but the truth is, there are millions of young people doing great things for others in their communities.
