Kind words are the music of the world. They have a power which seems to be beyond natural causes, as if they were some angel's song which had lost its way and come on Earth.

I’ve noticed there’s a “gratitude challenge” going around on Facebook. I haven’t come across the rules or instructions, or why this seems to be popular in the dead of summer instead of say, November. People tend to list in threes, I think, and I like to comment when I see things I feel most blessed about too.
Like my friend Andrea, who posted, “1. My sister 2. My sister 3. My sister.” I don’t know her well enough yet to know if she has one sister whom she feels triply thankful for, or three sisters, like me, each deserving of their own individual listing.
Or Denise, who posted, “1. That it’s summer 2. That it’s not winter 3. That I have access to a pool.” If you know me at all, you know I wholeheartedly agree!
I guess I can start my gratitude challenge with 1. Sisters 2. Summer pools 3. Facebook friends who are such angels to remind me that thankfulness is always “a thing.”
Have you taken the Gratitude Challenge yet? What three things are you grateful for today? Tell me in the comment field below.
