Farewell to a Friend, a Coworker, an Angel
This morning my coworker Jim Hinch announced he was leaving Guideposts. In fact, he’s leaving New York altogether, moving his family back home to California.
Jim loves it out there, but he talked about how much he’d miss his job here at Guideposts and Angels on Earth, and working with all of us in New York. He said that in his five years working here, he’d become a different person—a better person, more patient and appreciative of others. How about that? Changed by a job!
I’ve thought about that all day—which means I’ve thought about you. Because of you, and the inspiring stories you share with us, I suppose none of us can help but be changed for the better. Y’all are my inspiration, and today Jim was the angel who delivered me that message.
All the best to Jim and his family on the West Coast!
