Silver Dollar City
I'm writing this from Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, where I have been meeting GUIDEPOSTS readers, telling Christmas stories from GUIDEPOSTS and ANGELS ON EARTH, and best of all getting to hear some of your stories.
I love meeting you readers. You are an incredible audience and every time I get to sit down with you I gain an even better sense of how the magazines and web site work in your life.
I'd just like to thank all of you brave souls who came out in the Ozarks cold to see me at the Dockside Theater and say a few words afterwards. Special props to those of you who stood up and told a story.
Stories are our lifeblood and stories come from you. We are thinking about having more of these storytelling events in the future and I'd love to hear from you about what you think.
Meanwhile don't forget, you can tell your own story about Christmas or surviving hard times or Personal Change right here on the site. Tell us where your faith-based values meet your everyday lives.
Before I forget, thanks to all the great folks at Silver Dollar City who helped pull this off—Martha, Crystal, Casey, Peter, Lisa, Debbie, Evidene, Mike, Don and everybody else whose name I'm too dumb to remember.
