Go Time!

Yikes! I leave for the Middle East tomorrow and I haven’t even thought about packing yet. I’m afraid this blog will have to be quick.

It would be helpful if you said a few prayers for me. I’m worried about the large dog you see in the picture above. That’s Millie, of course. Julee is also going to be out of the country, touring in Europe and Russia. So for the first time in her life Millie is going to be without both of us. She will not like this, I’m afraid.

Our super’s daughter is going to stay for a couple of nights, and then Millie is going to stay with her pug friends Ollie and Hank for a couple more (thanks, Crista!). Then for the rest of the time she is moving in with positive thinking blogger Amy Wong and her dog, Winky, Millie’s BFF.

So, yes, I could use a few prayers. For Millie. For Julee. For my packing. And for everyone going on this wonderful two-week Guideposts inspirational cruise to the holy sites in Turkey, Greece and Israel (there’s about 150 of us). I can’t wait to meet you all.

Don’t worry. I’ll be checking in along the way. Thanks for the prayers. By the way, know any good restaurants in Istanbul?

I understand the apprehension of leaving your dog.I've felt that way about my little shiatsu before.

While you're gone. I pray for a dog angel to come and comfort Millie. :-) It's good you are so conscientiousness about not only Millie's physical needs but emotional needs too.
"A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel." Proverbs 12:10 (NIV 1984)

I pray for blessings on your trip, for divine appointments and for God to satisfy your desires with good things. :-)

Blessings,
