Two of a Kind

A hectic, cold, wintery week brightened by two positive thinkers.

Edward Grinnan and Millie.

We’ve had a hectic week at Guideposts closing out the April issue which, by the way, you readers are going to love.

Our cover story, by former Touched by an Angel star Roma Downey, is about her new role as producer of the upcoming NBC series A.D. The Bible Continues, a dramatization of first-century Christianity and the founding of the church.

Millie with a statue of Dr. Peale at Peale Center in Pawling, NY.We also have a powerful and moving story by Kim Campbell about caring for her husband Glen, the beloved Rhinestone Cowboy, as he battles Alzheimer’s.

So we’ve had some late nights at the office and some very cold days outside. People are ready for spring but the groundhog threw (very) cold water on that.

Then I came across a picture I’d forgotten about, of the two most positive thinkers I’ve ever known, and it brightened my whole week.

Now excuse me while I go home and watch a rerun of Groundhog Day
