Milly, who lives in New Bedford, Massachusetts, is very alert, has a wonderful sense of humor and loves telling stories, as her memory is still fantastic!

Still Biking at 103

At 103, Octavio Orduño stays active and has fun doing it!

Octavio Orduño may be the oldest cyclist in the nation.

He is 103, lives in Los Angeles, and loves keeping busy and physically fit.

When Octavio was 100, his wife Alicia asked him to get off the bicycle when they found his eyesight wasn't so good. The state even took away his driver's license because of this.

So now he rides a large tricycle!

Missy’s Book of Inspiration and Determination

“Faith brings comfort in uncertainty. It refocuses our mind. It brings hope instead of fear.” Read on for more of the insights from inspirational seniors in Don't Write My Obituary Just Yet.

"If we are worrying about tomorrow, we can't live for today."

That’s 90-year-old Louise’s advice in Missy Buchanan's book Don't Write My Obituary Just Yet.

Staying Active into Her 90s

Talk about motivational stories: This 95-year-old sprinter certainly knows how to keep active!

Ida Keeling is the fastest 95-year-old sprinter in the world!

When I first met her, I was immediately taken by both her spirit and her vivacity. She has such a positive view on life and knows how to stay active and healthy.

She is so active, in fact, that she competes every chance she gets in sprints. She surprised even herself when she recently beat her old record and set a new world record for fastest 60-meter dash in her age group.

The Inspirational Mayor

For almost four decades, she led her small community. Now she's retiring—at age 94!

"This is a one-horse town, and I'm that horse."

That is what Olive Stephens famously said about her 50 years of public service. She just retired as mayor of Shady Shores, Texas, at age 94!

She was mayor of the community for 38 years. Shady Shores has only 2,600 residents, but there was so much to do. "I kept going because I needed to get things done," she says.

The town has officially only been in existence since 1960, and people say they cannot imagine it without Olive as mayor.

Golden Inspiration

An 84-year-old jeweler puts his inspiration—and skill—to work in an unusual way.

Do you love playing board games? Monopoly and Life were two of my favorites growing up.

Marge's Inspiring Story: Dancing in Her 90s!

Never give up doing the things that bring you happiness, says one inspiring senior.

We can all do the the things we love, possibly forever!

That's what I learned from the dancer Marge Champion. You may have to adjust how you do the things you love as you get older, but that doesn't mean you have to give them up!

I was in awe watching Marge and her partner, Donald Saddler, perform in the documentary Keep Dancing; they are both in their 90s and the way they move today is an inspiration.

Learning from the Elder Wisdom Circle

Older Americans are sharing insights from their real life stories with seekers of all ages.

I always love hearing advice and wisdom from my grandmother.

At 100, He's Still Skiing...and Even Racing!

This inspiring senior is still skiing and even racing competitively.

One of the greatest things about growing up in Western New York was the skiing, because there was snow most of the year!

Volunteer and Make a Difference

Experience Corps helps you help kids. Get involved!

Volunteering is changing the lives of both children and mentors! Clara Pittman, 70, of Philadelphia, says about her volunteering experience, "It gives you a purpose, because you get up in the morning and you know that you're needed someplace!"
