Sitting on a stool among the deep rows of books in the library, a woman was sound asleep. She sagged against the shelf, lines of exhaustion and worry drawn in her face. Suddenly, a thought surfaced abruptly: Pray for her.

Having no idea of her needs, I simply envisioned her bathed in the light of Christ. I imagined it surrounding her on all sides, giving her new energy, life, joy, hope, insight—whatever she needed.

Not only was I interceding for those around me, I was communing with God at the same time.

Thank You for always praying for everyone that asks, may God bless all of you for such devotion and for listening to all the prayer requests. Praise The Lord Jesus.
I love reading Guideposts and Angels On Earth, they are so inspiring and help me realize that we all have problems and some people more then others, but that God is always there for all of us and I realize that God is there for each and everyone of us no matter how great our problems are we only have to pray and trust God with all our heart and soul and he will answer our prayers every time, maybe not as we would like sometimes, but he answers our prayers because he knows what is best for each of us. I have had many of my prayers answered and sometimes not as I would have wished, but God is great, good and loves all of us and always there for everyone. Praise you Lord Jesus, I love you with all my heart and soul. Amen Thank You for all your prayers Lupe

God is ever instigating and initiating prayer ( tuning in to Him! ) yet
I am constantly amazed at each turn of events He uses to turn our faces
and spirits upward...Amazing grace! Nancy

P.s. Thank you, Guideposts, for not only faithfully recording these times
of God's intervention in our daily strivings, but for making time to
pray for our Lord's people in your publication.
