The Bible is filled with verses that point to just how much God loves you. And His love began even before you were born! “You created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb” (Psalm 139:13).  Every minute of every day, God is thinking about you and planning good things for you. Psalm 139:16-18 tells us:

All the days ordained for me
       were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!

Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand.
       When I awake,
       I am still with you.

If today you are feeling unloved or inadequate, remember these facts:

  1. God knows you through and through–and loves you.
There is nothing you can do to make Him love you more…or less. You are the apple of his eye! (Zechariah 2:8)

  2. God is always with you, no matter where you go or what you face.
You will never be alone; He is always with you in the midst of daily struggles and trials. “Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9).

  3. God especially designed you, just as you are.
He has given you talents and a personality unique to you. The Message puts it this way: “Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given…Don’t compare yourself with others” (Galatians 6:4-5).

But here’s the greatest proof of divine love: “God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

So go forward today with joy and confidence. God loves you!
