Charlotte Stevenson (Main Character)
Charlotte was born and raised in Bedford, Nebraska. She married her high school sweetheart, Bob Stevenson, and came to live on Heather Creek Farm. She raised three children on the farm: Denise, who lived in California until her recent death and whose children Charlotte is now raising; Bill, the mayor of a neighboring town and father of two young children, and Pete, the loud-mouthed, wise-talking bachelor who lives down the road and handles most of the daily farm operations.
