Guideposts mission
is to fulfill the promise of these powerful words from our founder
Dr. Norman Vincent Peale. Through our uplifting publications, Web
sites, and charitable programs we reach out to people from all walks
of life to provide support, inspiration, and hope.
So many in our
country and around the world have limited resources or don’t know
where to turn.
Guideposts Outreach Ministries aim to assure no one goes
without access to help and hope….the sick, the elderly, the lonely,
teens and children, men and women of the military, and others
struggling with the challenges of daily life. Generous donations
from friends like you help us serve through the following charitable
programs:
o Prayer
Ministry:
response to
thousands of daily prayer requests, by name and need.
Complimentary Services:
our materials,
messages, and Web resources, provided at no cost, delivered to
people with financial or other challenges, such as in hospitals,
nursing homes, prisons, and the military.
Youth Ministry:
a safe place online and by phone for kids and teens.
Hispanic Outreach:
materials in Spanish for this growing community.
Recovery Community:
confidential forum
to help overcome the pain of addiction.
Sweater Project: sweaters, knit or crocheted by Guideposts readers, sent to hundreds of
thousands of children in need around the United States and the
world.
Armed Services Outreach:
Inspirational materials for
soldiers and their families, especially those far from home.
