Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

Recently my grandson died unexpectedly which caused my daughter's ex-husband to take control of all funeral arrangements & banning my daughter & our side of the family. After asking for prayer, not only was my ill daughter able to attend a very urgent meeting regarding the arrangements, money was donated, people stepped forward to babysit & help out. It became a time of healing & an end to bitterness. Praise God!

Thank you for your prayer support. My son Sam is more open to praying a few moments with me. He is very willing to bow his head. This is a brand new attitude. Usually he complains and grudgingly allows some prayer.

Dear prayer partners, Thank you for your prayers for my son Alex. A few days after submitting my request that he become hungry for the word of God, Alex texted me a scripture, and shared that he is reading the word daily. It is the first time he has shared this.

I recently asked for prayer for 2 people who were undergoing tests for breast cancer. Both turned out negative. Thank you for your prayers. I have had many problems with my computer lately and did not want to take it in again or buy a new one. I prayed that God would help me. My brother and I figured out the problem. Praise be to God.

I actually submitted two prayer requests and Our Lord answered them within days of each. I had asked for prayer for my son, sister and brother in law, for their continued drug abuse. Today she told me, she and her huband are done with methamphetime. And my son has also announced his sobriety. My other prayer was my that my husband, who is in a halfway house, be able to get the money that he needs to return home. And he did!

Thank you everyone who prayed for my son, who has been working a great job but was afraid something in his background would keep him from being able to continue employment. He was called by HR and asked several questions and was told that his case would be reviewed. Today he was told that everything was okay and he could continue working his job. Praise the Lord!
