Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

I was stressed and not paying attention when I unloaded my groceries out of the cart........I left my wallet with over $1200 cash and a check for $340 made out to me. I didnt realize my mistake until 24 hours later. I called the store and nothing had been turned in. I prayed and got two people to agree in prayer that my wallet would be returned IN TACT. I went to bed that night with peace in my spirit but my head telling me I should have a stomach ache, headache and not be able to sleep. I awoke the next morning to the sound of the phone. The beautiful voice told me that the store had my wallet and she verified the cash amount STILL PRESENT in the wallet!!!!Nothing was taken! I glorify God and HIS MAJESTY and His goodness! He truly watches over His children.

I would like to pass along the gratitude of my family for the answered prayer for my daughter Emily pertaining to her legal battle. I requested prayer on January 17th as we had a court date on the 18th. I am very grateful that her case will be closed amicably and it looks like her record will be cleared. “ If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to your mountain, "MOVE!" and it WILL move... and NOTHING will be impossible for YOU! “ - Matthew 17:20

Please praise and thank God with me for the good checkup news my doctor gave me this week about why my gut discomfort that seemed to be a hiatal hernia pain problem that had lasted for two months. I was especially concerned because my mother died from the complications of a hernia in connection with her stomach cancer (one of the inheritable cancers). He didn't find that my hiatal hernia had anything to do with my symptoms but had another cause do to bending over for a week doing filing causing acid to burn my esophacus, and the medication he gave me a sample of to take for a week worked immediately. I thank God in advance for helping me write the e-mail to him, as requested, when the week is up, that will correctly detail the info he needs as well as poses all the questions I may still need answering about preventative care of my digestive system. Special praise and thank God for bringing extra good" out of my "ill" as it gave me the opportunity to ask this doctor if I'd included in the book I'm writing all the "ills" that could cause the problem the book is about. I'd at this site asking God's help in keep my voice from shaking when I asked him about this and to have the courage to do so. Thank you God and all who prayed with me as not only did my shyness and soft voice get in my way but also this doctor agreed my book is much needed.
