Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

I seriously thought I lost my ipod even though I hadn't gone anywhere, and I was hyperventilating because my ipod has SO much information that means a lot to me stored on it. After praying and after some really sweet people helped me, I found it in a stack. I just want to really thank God that it wasn't lost after all, for answering my prayer, and please ask Him to bless those who helped me.

Thank you Lord for a wonderful visit with my daughter and her husband and for their safe travel back to their home which is 8 hours away. I am so grateful that they know how much we love them.

A few months ago I submitted a prayer request and I myself was praying for success in the semester past and for a way for me to graduate sooner and he answered both of my prayers. It might not have happened in my time but he has answered both of them and after going through a streak of failure in college I passed most of my courses with Bs and only one C and I want to thank God for that and for those of you who prayed with me. I also want to thank God for leading out in my life and for the blessings he has given me and my family and for the loving relationship I now have with my mum. I also want to thank him for giving me a boyfriend who loves God. He might not be perfect but I'm thankful because he allows God to lead him.

My son is a recovered drug user and alcoholic. he is sober by the grace of God and his hard work. He has a good job and got promotions and raises. He is now moving from a nice, but run down starter apartment to a gorgeous condo that is even closer to his meetings. I know that without God healing and guiding and prospering him, that this would never be possible. All my prayers have been answered.

Thanks to all of you who prayed on my behalf. My home was foreclosed on and I didn't know where I was going to live, or how I would afford a move. Thanks to your prayers (I am sure God heard you!) the new owner of my home has allowwed me to stay on and is renting the house to me! I have a three year lease and she is offering to make upgrades to the home which I was unable to afford. The Lord does indeed work in mysterious way.

Prayers of thanks that my estranged spouse and I were able to talk and share our emotions in a constructive way the other night. May God's will be done in our marriage.
