Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

I thank God for providing a miracle for my nephew Joey. I submitted a prayer request asking for divine intervention into what seemed an impossible situation. His court case was miraculously dropped & all false charges were thrown out. Truly nothing short of miraculous. Thank you Guideposts prayer partners for being there for me & my family. We are so greatful.

After 35 years of having a family business, and buying a bigger building and new equipment the econnomy tanked. For three years we have barely held it together and because of the economy and the banks tightening up, we were slowly going bankrupt. I have been praying to God all this time to just keeep us afloat, thinking it meant more sales,. About two months before we would have to close the doors, another company came along and bought us and my 3 sons have a job for 3 years. We lost our retirement and most of our cash, but Thank God my boys and their families are very close and are sticking together. God's plans are not our plans, but He certainly knows the best thing for us. Praise and Thanks be to God

Father, I thank you that my sister, Karyn, is regaining some strength in her right hand. The Neurosurgeon canceled the spinal cord surgery scheduled for Feb. 13th because she is showing improvement. For more than two weeks Karyn couldn't hold a toothbrush or turn the ignition in her car. Her symptoms started affecting her left hand as well. I posted and continue to post prayer requests for Karyn's complete healing and full restoration of every body function. Glory to God, He's answering. Father, I stretch my hands to Thee. I pray for every need and desire on this site. I pray for every person taking the time to pray for my sister, me and my loved ones. Amazing grace, Father. Amazing grace. Thank you, Father. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

I asked for prayer about my health 2 weeks ago and about my car needing repairs last week. I give God praise for answering both of these request. I am feeling much better and God gave my son the wisdom to fix my car, although he doesn't know a lot about mecanics.Isn't our heavenly Father so good to us? Thanks to all who prayed with me. I love you in Christ Our Lord!

My son is sober. He completed his probation. He never did that before. He has a good job with benefits, he has a nice place to live and is moving into an even nicer place at the end of the month. He is well in mind and body and spirit. Only God could have this miracle happen. He sees his potential in life. Only God could deliver him, with his own hard work as well, to this sober and healthy life. I am so grateful my heart swells...I have tears for this success. He has his life back.

Hi, I came across this answered prayer when googling 'What does it mean to trust God'. Just wanted to encourage others to be [ouch] patient when praying. "About three years ago I was driving a car I had been driving for about 15 years and the car was 5 years old when I got it. Needless to say the last several years we owned the car we (my husband and I) put a lot of money into it for repairs. Well, it finally got to the place where we just couldn’t put into it as much money as it would take to keep it running, and we could not buy another one. I talked to God about it. I told Him that He had someone that could give me a car. Then I left it in His hands. I have a good friend that was getting too old to drive and was going to sell her car. I told her to decide how much she wanted for the car and I would see if we could buy it. Now listen to this. The car was 9 years old but only had 16,000 miles on it and had been taken good care of. This was 6 months after I had talked to God about it. When I asked her to think about how much she wanted for her car she said I am just going to give it to you. And she did. Hallelujah!!!"
