A Prayer Service of Guideposts

Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

Lord thank you for being Earl's business partner and mentor. You know that I believe that you directed him to his present employer. Thank you for his promotion yesterday.Help me to continue to trust you in all things both large and small. Help me to trust you with my needs and wants. I pray that my wall unit will still sell at a fair value. Help me to leave this in your hands and timing.

Thank you lord for blessing me with a fiancé whom I'm going to marry to in Dec 2012. Thank you for my health n family. I pray for fiancé's family salvation n my parents' salvation. Thank you that I'm alive n breathing n can worship and praise You. An unworthy sheep like me You are willing to love. My greatest honour in this life is knowing n accepting You. My greatest privilege in this life is: Jesus died for me & loves a sinner like me. In Jesus name I give all the thanks I can with all my heart soul mind and strength.

I had asked for prayer for my husband back awhile ago. He had foot surgery and had to take 3 1/2 months off with no pay. The job he has was treating him very unfairly, 5 years without a holiday off (no Christmas mornings with the family, no New Years Celebrations, No Thanksgivings etc.) He is commuting over 100 miles a day to work and back, costing us over $800 a month in gas and $2.75 a day in bridge toll (In July it will go up to $4.75 a day) He has become frustrated with co workers, bosses who will never allow him to take time off that he asks for etc. He had 110 hours left on PTO (personal time off) on the books as of Dec 31st, has asked continuously for days off and been denied. Unfortunately he can only carry over 40 hours, so he has lost 70 hours of pto because they denied every request he put in to take time off. All that to say, he was so frustated and really wanted a job on this side of the water, that he didn't have to commute and hour and 20 minutes to each way, that would give him weekends off, and holidays off. Well...PRAISE THE LORD, a job opportunity came up and He was selected for the job! Its Day shift (He has worked swings for the last 30 plus years) its Monday through Friday, weekends off, and all Federal holidays off! He will make almost the same exact amount of money, maybe just a little less, but its only 15 mintues from home!!! God is soooo good!! He passed his physical, drug test and security screening and will start on Jan 30th!!! Thank you so much for your prayers and THANK YOU GOD for hearing and answering them!!!!

Hello Everyone who prayed for me and the horrible situation I was in, First of all to Heavenly Father and Jesus along with all the angels who protected me thank you for the true blessing that was given to me in the form of my supervisor not passing judgement on me with the false allegations that was brought to her about me. I believe in my heart that it was a miracle because when she finally called me to her office there was no anger present in her voice or her demeanor. Truly I saw the hand of God work before my very eyes, she could not find the tablet where she wrote notes of negative complaints about me, and because she could not find that tablet it alllowed her to ask simple and more to the point questions of the discontent in the office. God also helped me to answer without going into a pointing fingers mode....all in all I left her office unscathed and all the traps and snares that satan had set up were dissolved in Jesus name. It was through his grace that i am Hapy and the Victory is all his..........Amen once again I say thank you prayer warriors!
