Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

I sent a request for a prayer for a young 9 year old that mysteriously got very very ill. he doctors could not figure out what exactly was wrong. He has swelling in the brain, lesions on his brain. He couldn't talk or move any limbs. It took several weeks before he could blink for a yes or no. After many rounds of mris, spinal taps, antibiotics, and many requests for prayers (thru you also) he slowly made progress each day getting stronger until now 3 months later he is back in school half day with some therapy in the afternoon. It has truly been a miracle! Thanks to all that helped pray for Zach!!!

I have been praying and asking prayer partners with "Our Prayer" to pray for our son to find a good wife. He is 37 and very lonely. He has never been married. God has sent him a wonderful woman to love. They are getting married in August. I wish to thank God for this answered prayer. And thank all of you for praying.

Back in Sept., 2006, I had submitted a prayer hoping my son-in-law, Hugh, would quit abusing my daughter, Lara. He was a recovered alcoholic but he had a drug problem, a horrible temper, and could never hang on to a job. He was beating my daughter, never got any groceries, and would never take her anywhere other than to his parents' home. Today - he has full time employment, has stopped all drugs and treats her so well. It's as if our Lord, Jesus, took him by the shoulders and shook him till he finally grew up and became an adult. I thank you all for the beautiful prayer you sent me which definitely worked and I especially thank our dear Lord Jesus.

Thank You Heavenly Father for blessing, healing and saving my Mother, Brother, family, friends, neighbors and me, continue to bless, guide and protect us. Forgive us of our sins. Thank You for giving me a good new job. Touch and heal my friends, n, t and j, all of whom are seriously ill. Bless those on our prayer list, homeless, unemployeed, uninsured, suffering loss, facing danger, disaster and bad weather, our public servants and service men. We ask in the name of Jesus, not our will, but Yours be done. Amen gcm
