Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your countless blessings. Forgive me for not saying nearly enough times each day, "Thank You for all of Your miracles and blessings in my life each day." In Jesus' name, Amen.

I normally see the retina specialist on an average of once a month and I’m always very anxious on that day. On my December visit I was told that I am doing well and I do not have to return for two months. I had also asked for prayers last month that I would not need the costly eye drops. I was told to cut the dosage in half and this is a tremendous financial help. I am also very grateful for other personal prayers that have been answered. May God Bless each and every one of you!

My husband was very ill in the ICU, suffering from 2 heart attacks plus numerous other conditions. He was not expected to live. I submitted a prayer that if God was going to take him to Heaven that he would allow him to die at home. Against all odds, my husband became better and came home. He died 45 days later which gave us both to spend quality time with each other. We had been married 53 years. Thank you to everyone for your prayers. God is so good!

I was in need of some food and a beautiful gift bag of surprises was delivered to my door including a $100.00 gift certificate to Giant Eagle for groceries. Our electric was going to be shut off today and yesterday I was given a medical cerificate extension for a month to give me time to get assistance from community service.
