Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

I asked Guideposts to pray for both my wife, for her second in a series of 'mammograms' and my self with news of finding a cyst on my pancreas...the both of us got good news last week. The Lord said not to worry and hand over freely to me your problems for I have your back. It takes a few days to release the anxious moments of your life being interupted by another problem, but when that anxiety flee's and you have accepted what the Lord has to offer you then are free of worry and know in your heart that He has your back and will take care of you. Amen!

God is awsome! My daughter-in-law was diagnosed with mono and only was off from work just one week. Her strenght is back but she's a little tired at the end of the day. I prayed that God would heal her quickly and that my son and their girls not get mono from her. And God came through again. Thank you for answering another of my prayers. Glory be to the Father and to the Son!!!!!!

This morning while I was washing my face, I noticed that one of my beloved garnet earrings was no longer in my ear. As I saw the back to the earring floating in the sink I was fairly sure the earring itself had gone down the drain. I looked around on the floor and shook my clothes, but to no avail. I didn't actually offer a prayer, figuring it was only a material object, but this evening something told me to go look inside my shower cap. I did, and found the earring! Praise God! He never forgets!
