Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

Last year you prayed with me for Wayne and Bob. Wayne is now healed from colon cancer and leukemia. Bob is much better without the last surgery that would have left him with a colostomy bag permenamently.

Thank the Lord! He answered our prayers regarding my son, Justin and his wife, Shannon. They surprised me and my mother (who I live with, as long as the Lord wills and I am able) last night and we had a talk about things (while my mom enjoyed cuddling with my 2 mo. old grandson :-) ). My daughter has vo‪iced her opinion about my daughter-in-laws relationship with her brothers... both girls said bad things to each other. Sooooo... pray that I learn what to say and when to say it to all the girls, especially my daughter. Anyway, there was also a lot of misunderstanding... but God is so wonderful, loving and true. Thanks again for caring and giving us to the Lord. I pray that you are blessed likewise, or even more. Truly, Patti (Look forward with me to how God works in my other children's lives.) :-)

Please praise and thank God for how quickly and wonderfully the prayers said for our family have been answered. First that the new growth one specialist found in my husband's throat that he thought might need to be removed to keep him a "cancer survivor", his throat specialist today reassured him that it was only a slightly enlarged on one side normal part of his throat. Second, thanks to God and a lot of effort on my husband's part the problem with three orders of our daughter's medicine being mistakenly shipped to her former address and not returned is being resolved. And we thank God in advance for how this news will finally help our daughter's brain that gets stuck worrying about such thing to cease dwelling on this incident that her doctor's office manager made her feel like she was "drug seeking" by trying to get more medicine when she had not received any. We also thank God in advance for turning these few remains days of her good part of each month around, and that she have and the rest of her family have a pleasant, productive, and safe weekend and coming week. I also thank God for helping me finally get the hang of the what I can eat and not suffer symptoms while
