Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

Last week I submitted a prayer request for my daughter, Julie, regarding health issues. Today she received word that she doesn't have to have a medical procedure and everything is okay. Thank you all and thank you God for a blessing and answered prayer. Julie's mom

I submitted a prayer request concerning our son, Jacob and whether or not he should go to college this upcoming year or wait. God answered our prayer. Jacob was detained by a park ranger for posession of paraphanalia (sp?). He and a friend were smoking marijuana outside of the car in a local park. Most people would think this is a disaster, but we calmly listened to Jacob, his worries, concerns and the pressure of going to college tumbling out and his starting to use marijuana to deal with those stresses. We had him evaluated by a drug/alcohol counselor and were relieved to find out that he does not have a problem with drugs, but does have a problem with not being mature enough to handle major stressors at this time. Jacob has decided to put college on hold for a year and use the time to 'grow up'. We have a written contract that he is adhearing to and we are spending more time together as a family. Thank you so much for your prayers!

The Lord has freed me from the bondage of sin. HE knew I was in the wrong place and got me out. It is not for earthly judgement to merit, but HIS will is being done as it always will. You can never ever deny the power of God!!!! AMEN I am back on the road to be one with my family! Praise be to Jesus.

I learned just how much we are loved! My beloved was injured, I thought I had asked the angels to keep him safe so when I discovered that he had been injured, I thought they didn't do as I had asked. But what I found out was that they loved him so very much that they actually saved him. The little that he was injured was by far the least of what could have happened. They did love him, they did take good care of him, they saved him. I am grateful for Gods love through His angels who DO watch over us, who DO take care of us and save us. I am sorry for my outburst and praise God for His Grace, His love and His forgiveness. Praise God, all my prayers do get answered, all my dreams do come true!
