Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

Father, I thank you for my safe flight. I continue to pray for travel mercies for my family and lovedones as we travel to our respective destinations. Thank you Father for answering our prayers. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

I thank God from the bottom of my heart for keeping my parents safe today during their long drive home. They were late getting home and I was getting worried, but God kept them safe and brought them home at just the right moment.

Thank you, Lord, for always hearing and answering my prayers. For carrying me everyday of my life and feeding me and providing shelter...helping me raise my four kids. Thou wast always there for me. Thank thee for the beautiful world and for my life.

Gratefully, I praise You and thank You, Heavenly Father, for providing the gas money and food we needed this weekend. You provide for us, a day at a time, and help me to remember to trust only YOU as we do our best in our financial difficulties. Thank You for being with me and an unbelieving family. I pray, as always, for You to soften their hearts so that they will accept your eternal gift of salvation, through your wonderful son Jesus Christ. Thank You for your Holy Spirit's comfort and guidance in my life. God, You are so loving, You are awesome! Let everything in my life be offered to your glory. In Jesus' name, I pray, amen.

I had asked for prayer last week about my children's school situation. I wasn't sure whether my son with ADHD was going to be renewed for next year at his Christian school. So far so good! The renewal process has been started for him. I'm thankful that Jesus loves ALL his children.

Thank You Heavenly Father for blessing, healing and saving my Mother, Brother, family, friends, neighbors and me, continue to bless, guide and protect us. Forgive us of our sins. Thank You for giving me a good new job. Touch and heal my friends, t and j, both of whom are seriously ill. Bless those on our prayer list, homeless, unemployeed, uninsured, suffering loss, facing danger, disaster and bad weather, our public servants and service men. We ask in the name of Jesus, not our will, but Yours be done. Amen gcm

Please thank and praise God in advance with us for -- as my husband put it when the New Year commenced last night -- "helping our family's progression in 2012 with all our endeavors". We thank, just as we always ask, in Jesus Christ's name.
