Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

Thank You Heavenly Father for blessing, healing and saving my Mother, Brother, family, friends, neighbors and me, continue to bless, guide and protect us. Forgive us of our sins. Thank You for giving me a good new job. Touch and heal my friends, t and j, both of whom are seriously ill. Bless those on our prayer list, homeless, unemployeed, uninsured, suffering loss, facing danger, disaster and bad weather, our public servants and service men. We ask in the name of Jesus, not our will, but Yours be done. Amen gcm

I prayed for help getting thru Christmas without my loving husband who died Dec. 10. I was under the impression that my granddaughter and son-in-law would not be coming. The whole family came, brought the entire dinner & surrounded me with love. It was a truly joyous day! Thank you for your prayers.

Please thank God with us for the many ways our prayers for our daughter's visit got answered, and it has turned out to be the best Christmas long holiday we've had in years. I'm particularly grateful God for You urging me to attend that online ADD/HD live conference two months ago that helped explain so much about her behavior caused by this condition of hers that affects short time memory, distracts her so easily so time gets away from her, and her impulse control that helped me be more patient and understanding of what she needs to feel better about herself. As You so well know God, she feels like such a failure at 48 to have no friends, no job, and little too look forward to that we know God with Your help You will guide her to ways to resolve all these difficulties. We also want to thank You in advance God for helping the rest of her 10 "bad" days of each hormonal cycle of her other condition -- Premestrual Dysphoric Disorder (that began today) also not be "downers" this month, and that she start 2012 upbeat for a change and with Your help be able to sustain it. We thank, just as we ask, in Jesus Christ's name.

Though it was Christmas, I'm a little ashamed to say that I felt sad and depressed this morning. I thank the living God that my mood soon improved so that I could enjoy Christmas.

"God, thank you for all the grace and favors which you have given me through the prayers of your Apostle, Jude Thaddeus. St. Jude, I thank you for your intercession in response to my prayers. I will always be grateful to you and will spread to devotion to you. Be with us always so we may face our problems with courage and serenity."
