Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

Thank You Heavenly Father for blessing, healing and saving my Mother, Brother, family, friends, neighbors and me, continue to bless, guide and protect us. Forgive us of our sins. Thank You for giving me a good new job. Touch and heal my friends, n, t and j, all of whom are seriously ill. Bless those on our prayer list, homeless, unemployeed, uninsured, suffering loss, facing danger, disaster and bad weather, our public servants and service men. We ask in the name of Jesus, not our will, but Yours be done. Amen gcm

I want to praise the Lord for answered prayer!! He has blessed me by providing me with exactly the type of job I had been praying for--full time, day shift, 12 hour shifts, close to home, good benefits, & a wage that is one & a half times what I was making in my previous position!! We had also prayed that it would happen so I wouldn't have to drive far in bad weather. I star my new job next week & God also answered my prayer for moderate weather while I still have a distance to drive!! So if the answer seems long in coming, keep on praying. Our Father is faithful & in due season we shall reap if we faint not!!!

A few months ago my son's identity was stolen; birth certificate, ss card and several other pertinent papers. But I am happy to say that since I asked for prayers for him, he has gotten all of his papers. Thank you for your prayers.

It was the same time last year when we were looking for a surgeon to work on my leg. ... When he opened the door, I felt calm right away...just like a raging sea that suddenly calmed down. He saw my leg and gave me several options. But the best was to get the operation. Before parting, his last words were, "I was trained under Dr. Ertl." I can now join the aero-kickboxing class for an exercise. (I used to swim only because that is the only no-impact exercise I can do.) On my first day I went aero-kickboxing, I was soooo happy that I had to stop for a brief moment and thank Him for the people He led me to -- my surgeon, my prosthetist and physical therapist. I still cry as I am overwhelmed with happiness and gratitude (and as I am sharing this now with you) whenever I think of that day.

God must be laughing at me. I was waiting and waiting for news from my son. His next day off was Friday, and I hoped by then I would hear news...I said the serenity prayer often and tired to put it in God's hands. Finally, exhauseted, I did, and just gave it up. He called last night wondering why he hadn't heard from us, since he had sent us an important email several days ago....and that night he found out it had bounced back to him, and we had never gotten it. how funny. we were both wondering where the other end of the equation was, and we were both right there all along...with God holding onto both ends. He had great news to share, but of course, God knew that all along.

Was to have a test taken back in Sept but when I went to the Drs yesterday to have it done, she said I didn't need it now. I go back to see her in May and we will see how things are going. If anything would come up to call her and we might have to do the test but for now, no test needed to be done. PRAISE THE LORD
