Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

I thank God for His love for me, for the warm home I enjoy and the food He has provided. I hope to extend a helping hand to those less fortunate this year, so others will know God and His greatness! I thank God for prayer warriors who know the importance of prayer in daily life. These prayers have kept me going when the way was hard and the light dim. I am grateful for brothers and sisters in Christ.

Thank You Heavenly Father for blessing, healing and saving my Mother, Brother, family, friends, neighbors and me, continue to bless, guide and protect us. Forgive us of our sins. Thank You for giving me a good new job. Touch and heal my friends, t and j, both of whom are seriously ill. Bless those on our prayer list, homeless, unemployeed, uninsured, suffering loss, facing danger, disaster and bad weather, our public servants and service men. We ask in the name of Jesus, not our will, but Yours be done. Amen gcm

I'm in the final year of my dental college career, and last semester was stressful to say the least. There were times when I thought I wouldn't make it, but the Lord kept pushing me through!! At the end of the semester I finished with good overall grades, all thanks to our wonderful ever faithful Lord. In just a few more months I will graduate, and I ask that everyone continue to pray that I finsh well with the help of the Lord!! Thank you Lord for pushing me up that hill even when I thought I would tumble down!!

I want to thank God that things are getting better and better. Thank you God for the blessings that you provide for me and for my loved ones. Thank you that little by little I have been able to take steps to better myself. Thanks for being by my side when I didn't think that I could make it. Thank you for your constant protection. I would also like to thank the wonderful prayer partners for their help with my prayers; God bless them and God bless everybody. Please God continue to guide us and keep us safe. I love you and I am always grateful and thankful to you.

Please praise and thank God with us for providing even before we ask for our needs in both small and big ways. Last night I was struck by how often God has guided me to do or buy something that at the time I've no idea I will need even sometimes years before. Yesterday evening I was reading the instructions about what non-prescription things could help my husband who has been struggling with a cough that's lasting far longer than it should. One suggestion was that "eucalpyst" (sp?) cough drugs work best. I had to smile big about that because only two days before a money off coupon at my drugstore had got me to buy that type rather than the usual menthol I always select for my husband. Wow! yet another of the many Godincidents that no longer refer to as "wasn't that lucky" but instead thank God for arranging. And it is wonderful that now there is the "Answered Prayers" site where I can witness to far more people about even the smaller way God provides. We thank, just as we always ask, in Jesus Christ's name.
