Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

I had to pick my letter of recommendation from my former boss to submit to a school I had applied to do an MBA. Unfortunately I couldn't make it early enough so he left for a meeting and had not option but to leave it with his house boy. When I got to his residence around 8:00pm the whole place was dark - an indication that no one way home. I began to feel desperate then all of a sudden the Holy Spirit reminded me of how God had said He shall give His angels charge over me. I therefore immediately asked God's angles to prompt the young man wherever he was so he could come to the entrance. Just when I said amen, I saw him emerge from the backyard of the house. The answered prayer was too instant and I had goose bumps all over me. I asked him if my boss called him and he said no but said he was in the backyard when he just felt an urge to come to the gate and lo and behold I was there waiting. Our God is good.

I asked everyone to pray for my daughter as she started on her job hunt on 1/31 to give her the courage to present herself with confidence with anyone that she interviewed with. With all of your prayers, a long distance friend called an employer, gave my daughter a glowing recommendation, so in turn she was called to come in for an interview. She was hired 2/3. Thank you everyone because I know it could not have happened without your prayers.
