Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

I would like to thank you for praying for me this last year. It has been a challenging time for my son has had marital problems and I went through a divorce that was very difficult. God has made a way for me by providing a home and income. I did not know if I would have either, but am grateful unto the Lord for his mercy, grace, provisions and love. I give him the Glory and thanksgivings unto my Savior. I praise him for everything he has done for me and am trusting him still for my son.

I have a long list of intentions. However, some of the intentions have already been answered. I also see the work of God in motion to harvest the seeds of my prayers for my other intentions!!

Four days ago I took my 7 year old son to the doctor for his yearly physical exam. When it was time for the hearing test, he failed. The Doctor repeated the hearing test 4 more times. Each time he failed. I was so concerned because I have uncles and cousins that became deaf at an early age or was born deaf. The Doctor gave me script for a hearing specialist for my son. The doctor step out of the examination room for a moment and thats when I started to pray to God and asked for healing for my son. When the doctor came back in to the examination room I told him to please repeat the test one more time. He said that he failed and nothing was going to changed that. I told him god could change the result. The doctor repeated the test and to his amazement my son heard everything. The doctor was so shocked he repeated the test 3 more times and each time he could hear. The doctor said I dont know what happened but your son has excellent hearing. I praised the Lord at that moment. Thank Lord for healing my son.
