Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for stopping the gunman in Rainier National Park. I pray that You will have mercy on his troubled soul. Please bless the slain ranger's family, friends and coworkers with your peace that heals. In Jesus' name, I pray, amen.

God is great! The communication opened up between my son and his Dad over the Christmas holiday. We were able to enjoy the true meaning of Christmas and being together. Thanks to all who prayed for them to connect as father and son.

What an AWESOME WONDERFUL GOD we serve!!!! I had requested prayer a while ago about a financial matter that needed taken care of, we needed money to do a bankruptcy, due to some unfortunate business dealings that caused financial difficulties for the past 4 yrs trying to get out from under this was hard because I suffered a heart attack and had open heart surgery, which was serious in itself, then unable to work, so we only had one income, but the Lord provided our every need, our daily bread. But we struggled to try and save money, then this past year, a situation occurred which seemed, at the time like a bad thing, but the Lord turned it into a good thing, because we ended up with a settlement that enabled us to do the bankruptcy. And what a relief this has been to get that taken care of, I mean doing a bankruptcy doesn't sound like such a great thing to do, but in this particular situation and time of our life, we had no other choice. So we are grateful to get that behind us, and thank you for the prayers!!! God bless!!!

I thank God from the bottom of my heart for keeping my parents safe today during their long drive home. They were late getting home and I was getting worried, but God kept them safe and brought them home at just the right moment.

Gratefully, I praise You and thank You, Heavenly Father, for providing the gas money and food we needed this weekend. You provide for us, a day at a time, and help me to remember to trust only YOU as we do our best in our financial difficulties. Thank You for being with me and an unbelieving family. I pray, as always, for You to soften their hearts so that they will accept your eternal gift of salvation, through your wonderful son Jesus Christ. Thank You for your Holy Spirit's comfort and guidance in my life. God, You are so loving, You are awesome! Let everything in my life be offered to your glory. In Jesus' name, I pray, amen.
