Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

Thank you Father for relieving the overwhelming depression, anxiety and lonliness this morning. Thank you for your tender mercy and grace and for a good start for a God sent day. Please continue to pray for me as I will for you. I'm seeking God's will and praying for the desires of my heart. He said we could. I'm asking in faith. Please agree with me. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Last week, I sent in a prayer request for my son, John B., who had a court case hearing last Thursday. I just want to let you know that the case hearing went well for John and would like to thank you for your prayers on his behalf ! I also asked for prayers on John B.'s behalf that he would get a steady job doing something that he likes and is good at. He is putting in more applications - so if you could continue in your prayers for him in regard to this, that would be great !

Thank you Lord for allowing us to pray every day without fear. I pray for those who cannot pray openly but must do so in secret. Please be with them and keep them safe. Jean

In October I asked for your prayers concerning a health issue that had been bothering me for 3 months. I greatly appreciated all who prayed for me and if I had listened to what God was telling me, I would not have suffered as long as I did. But even then I did not listen which caused me to suffer more until finally on November 13 I could stand the pain no longer and had to go to the emergency room. There God put caring and knowledgeable doctors in place and I received the treatment I should have had if I had only listened sooner. I was in the hospital one week and am recovering at home but it will take longer than if I had sought treatment sooner. Please continue to pray for me as I regain my health and strength. Again, thank each of you and may God bless you.

I posted a prayer for my daughter, who was under an extraordinary amount of stress on her job. She had been in training for one and one-half years (social security position) and was under constant scrutiny. She met her requirements last Wednesday November 16 and is now allowed to work on her own. This will relieve the stress greatly. Thank you all so much for your prayers. Bernice
