Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

A few weeks ago, I asked for prayer for an upcoming brain surgery that was scheduled for last Friday, 11/11/2011. I had had a "brush" with death back in January of this year when I had profuse bleeding in the brain, which involved being life lighted to a third hospital. The surgeon, we believe, is a vessel of God. When I learned I would be needing another surgery, I thought of Our Prayer. Thank you so much for praying for me. I really needed the prayer and the support you gave. I'm feeling well, and will go back to see my surgeon on Monday to have the stitches removed and another check of the wound. I truly believe that God is in control, works miracles, and loves us more than we could ever imagine.

In August, I requested that you pray for us for my husband to get a permanent job that could support the family. That month he was contemplating on leaving then his temp job at a food company because it was taking so long for them to decide when he gets his full time. He even applied for another job and was called for interview even called for a second interview. But he likes the one that he is working for because it is food. When he told them that it might be his last week because he was meant on taking this new application, then the bosses offered him full-time. He accepted because it was a food company. He will only have to work longer ours to get back to where we were. I am thankful for your prayers. We still have to get caught up on the debts but very thankful for all the blessings and believe that God is in control.

I would never be able to fully-thanked God for his undeserved kindness and never-ending compassion except by sharing how much once again He saved from what seemed to be a hopeless situation from which there was no one to blame except me. I was really feeling low for many days. Things between me and my boss were not going well. And I just felt tired and depressed of what had been going on. I felt hopeless and afraid. So I've prayed for the improvement of professional and personal relationship. I thought He wouldn't hear me because I was the one at fault. But God did!! We've been talking again. He's back into supporting me and I could not ask for anything more except that God would continue to protect it. I turned to God when I felt so hopeless and helpless and how Great He is for not leaving me, and for loving me despite all the things that I do to mess up with my life. Praise God.

Thank you Father for favor for Dee in court this evening. Tonight was as example of "If God be for us, who can be against us." Thank you for your goodness, mercy and grace. Thank all of you who lift up my prayer requests to the Father. God, bless, protect, provide, heal and grant the desires of your hearts. In Jesus' name. Amen.

I have been praying for something every day for a quite some time now and the awesome Lord let something amazing happen. I know that to most people this wouldn't be a big deal but it was a huge step and I just know that it was God speaking to me and showing me there is hope and that he is listening. THANK YOU Father so much for this small but big surprising gesture! I love you and am so thankful.
