A Prayer Service of Guideposts

Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

I want to thank guideposts and the people who pray for others. I had sold my mom's house that I inherited on land contract twelve years ago and the man who bought it was transferred out of state to work. He couldn't afford living in both places so he signed the house back to me. After months of restoring the house and trying to keep up two homes I was at the point of having to make a decision of leaving my own home to move out there. The house had been put up for sale and also to rent but we had no takers. On November 4th, the house was rented and I know it was thru God's grace and the prayers of guideposts and all my friends that this happened. I'm so awed by the power of prayer and God's grace. Thank you for being a part of my life. Wanda -

Thank you lord for helping me to avoid temptation and not spend any money at all during the holiday sales--it was your help that helped me to keep my wallet in my purse and not spend money that I really cannot afford.

Thank You Heavenly Father for blessing, healing and saving my Mother, Brother, family, friends, neighbors and me, continue to bless, guide and protect us. Forgive us of our sins. Thank You for giving me a good new job. Bless those on our prayer list, homeless, unemployeed, uninsured, suffering loss, facing danger, disaster and bad weather, our public servants and service men. We ask in the name of Jesus, not our will, but Yours be done. Amen gcm

"God, thank you for all the grace and favors which you have given me through the prayers of your Apostle, Jude Thaddeus. St. Jude, I thank you for your intercession in response to my prayers. I will always be grateful to you and will spread to devotion to you. Be with us always so we may face our problems with courage and serenity."

I did not have the November rent. I submitted my prayer here and on another prayer website. By the Grace of God and the power of prayer, a local parish outreach program paid the November rent. Thank you to all for your prayer and support. As always Thank you to God to for loving us and protecting and providing for my family. Thank you.
