Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

Because of continued prayers, my son is no longer involved in a mentally and emotionally abusive relationship. It was heartwrenching to watch as he allowed himself to be dragged through life with little appreciation and respect. he was encouraged many times ot walk away from the woman responsible for the verbal and emotional abuse but would not or could not. Today he is free from the struggle and abuse...today he is on the road to recovery. Thank you for your prayers during this most stressful time in our lives. Please continue to pray for his healing.

I asked OurPrayer to pray for me to get another job and to help me find a way to come out of these financial difficulties I have been struggling with for the past 2 years. About a month later I came across a vacancy in a reputed organization and applied for it, and praise be to Jesus, I got it! I'm starting work in 2 weeks time. Amidst all this our financial status was deteriorating by the day. Christmas was coming up and we didn't even have enough to cover the month's rent. My husband is jobless but has been working hard in putting a deal through, which he was suppose to get a commission from. When he told me about the deal I was unsure if it would work at all. Because these kinds of deals seldom work out, at all! But God working was in our lives and the deal came though. Even now I feel it's a miracle but with God nothing is impossible. I've had faith and belief that something will work out and it did! This amount and job may not make our problems go away over night, but I know that God has opened up a door for us and there's more to come. I know He will keep sending us His blessings for us to get through this situation step by step. Thank you for praying for me and my family! My Prayers will always be with OurPrayer and their service!

Thank You Heavenly Father for blessing, healing and saving my Mother, Brother, family, friends, neighbors and me, continue to bless, guide and protect us. Forgive us of our sins. Thank You for giving me a good new job. Touch and heal my friends, t and j, both of whom are seriously ill. Bless those on our prayer list, homeless, unemployeed, uninsured, suffering loss, facing danger, disaster and bad weather, our public servants and service men. We ask in the name of Jesus, not our will, but Yours be done. Amen gcm

My son Sean, who travels many hours to earn a living for his family. Fell asleep at the wheel. Ran off the road, totaled his vehicle but by the Lord's grace injured no one and suffered minor injuries. He received a Reckless Driving ticket. I prayed for the Lord to touch the heart of the judge so she would understand this was a situation where a man is working to provide for his family. Today in court the Reckless Driving charge was reduced to Improper Driving and he was assessed a fine and court costs of only $141.00. Prayers are indeed answered. Thanks be to the Lord.
