Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

Thank you dear Lord for our time together in silence. Thank you for answered prayers. I know You will not fail me nor forsake me. Thank you for prospering me and not harming me. Thank you for being my God and following me with goodness and mercy all of my life. Thank you for the gift of grace You have given me.

Dear God, Thank you that the heat and electricity have been turned back on at 3:00 a.m. this morning after the storm. Thank you for helping me get rid of some of the broken branches yesterday. Thank you that I had prepared food to eat the day before the storm.

I have been going through some extremely difficult times ... and even felt God wasn't hearing my prayers. Yesterday I was driving and prayed, "Dear God, please give me some assurance that I am Your Child and You are hearing my prayers." Just then I passed a church and the marqee flashed, "Be still and know that I am God!" Thank You, God, for the assurance that you know just where I am and what I need.

Thank you for praying for my husband to find his lost hearing aid. Truly God is an awesome God!!! He lost it on a car trip to his older sisters house, but didn't realize it was gone (he had removed it from his ear because the battery had gone dead)until he arrived several hours later. On the way down he had stopped at an abandened gas station to stretch his legs. Unbeknownst to him, the hearing aid fell out. On the way home four days later, something (God) told him to stop there again. He recognized the spot he had stopped before (a white plastic bottle & other trash). He looked down - & there was his hearing aid. Truly amazing. In all that huge parking area, there it was. Thank you Father!!! We are waitinbg now to see if it can be repaired. Pray that it can. Thank you Jesus for your goodness.

I recently moved from - CA to -, NV. When I moved, I knew of two people who I could contact for friendship. I contacted them and we interfaced once. Since then, I haven't seen or heard much from them. I've been here for about 1 month now. I started feeling lonely so I prayed for God to introduce me to new friends. I recently met two other females who have been friendly to me. I want to thank God for providing me those friends as well as any future friends He will introduce me to via my church.
