Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

Please praise and thank God for the improvement in answer to all the prayers said for my daugther's boyfriend in recent months to help him stop his verbally abusive behavior. Also for he finally coming to understand what a real apology is an now appropriately and promptly to offer one to our daughter, which he never had done in 10 years, along with his then changed action. I personally want to praise and thank God for answering my prayer to help me to do the things I'd so long been procrastinating about so that for a change I'm well ahead in pre-doing the things that are part of our family celebrating the birthday of God's son in a few weeks. This along with what I've recently learned about one of our daughter's many health conditions should make her week long holiday much less stressful. So I'm especially grateful to God for guiding me to attend the online ADHD conference so that the knowledge I acquired will help me better understand her difficulties because of her ADHD with: memory, feeling things strongly and reacting more that most would, difficulty with time management, not easily able to start and complete projects, etc. Knowing it's the different way her brain works than her father's or mine is the problem -- not her being willfully difficult -- is a great learning blessing. And God thank You so much for answering the prayers about the possible new opportunity door that might open for my husband that hopefully will lead to a new way to earn the extra income needed for our daughter's and my medical needs in 2012. We thank, just as we ask, in Jesus Christ's name.

I thank God that two of my students whom I was worried about are doing much better. One now has a better attitude and the other is finally catching onto the subject matter he's learning.

My Mom almost died from an ulcer that bursts in her stomach. Many people were praying for her, and I was praying everyday... throughout the day. Two miracles happened during this traumatic time that saved her life. She had to have immediate emergency surgery, and had to be flown to another hospital to have the surgery because of her condition (this hospital had told us that if they did the surgery, she most likely would not come through it). It was 11 hours before she arrived at the other hospital, because the hospital she was at "dropped the ball". The surgeon at the hospital she was flown to, told me the reason she lived was because her own body "started healing itself in route" which slowed it down so they could help her. He said it was a miracle. She was with me when it happened 5 hours away from home. Back home, our medical doctors are I'm sorry to say, less than desirable. I happen to live close to one of the best hospitals in our State, and had she not been in the "right place at the right time", I don't think I would have her today. Everything happens for a reason, and I thank GOD everyday that I still have my Mom. Thank you all for your Prayers.

Thank You Heavenly Father for blessing, healing and saving my Mother, Brother, family, friends, neighbors and me, continue to bless, guide and protect us. Forgive us of our sins. Thank You for giving me a good new job. Touch and heal my friends, t and j, both of whom are seriously ill. Bless those on our prayer list, homeless, unemployeed, uninsured, suffering loss, facing danger, disaster and bad weather, our public servants and service men. We ask in the name of Jesus, not our will, but Yours be done. Amen gcm
