Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

A week ago I asked for prayer on a meeting I had to attend for work. It was in a bad area of town, which I was completely unfamiliar with, and I was concerned about getting lost. God answered those prayers in an amazing way. I didn't have to worry about getting lost, as the people who had organized the meeting had completely messed up the schedule. It had to be canceled, so I didn't even have to go! Thank you for your prayers, and thanks to God for resolving the problem so wonderfully.

Thank you dear God and thank you for your prayers. A while back I had posted a prayer hoping for an invitation to Thanksgiving dinner. I am a widow with no immediate family and the friend I used to spend holidays with died in April. Almost two hours from my posting I received an invitation to dinner from another friend. While it may not seem like such a big thing it meant a lot to me. Thank you, may God bless all who prayed for me.

I just want to thank everyone who prayed for me about my car situation. The car I had kept losing power, and with two retail jobs getting a ride wasn't always possible considering my crazy hours. I was able to get a new car, though, which I didn't think would be possible. God worked it out for me, and I'm very grateful for all the prayers.

I requested a prayer for my daughter quite long time in this prayer site. She stopped to go to church and get along with only worldy friends since we came back my country. I've asked God lead her and have a purpose of her life and have spiritaul friends, and a job for which she fits. I've waited and forgot what I prayed for her. From there is no reason, she starts to go to church every Sunday and reads Bible, and has a job which she really wanted. Thank you for prayer volunteers. Most of all, praise to be God.

Please praise and thank God with us for the two positive telephone calls this week with our daughter, and for the overall improvement in her well being due to the treatments God guided us to find after so many years of little real help for her various difficult to treat problems. And I want to thank God for helping me to get started working towards creating a blog to help female addicts unaware of what may be the cause and solution for their difficult recovery issues. We thank, just as we ask, in Jesus Christ's name.

I asked your volunteers to pray for my son so he can find a suitable place to live in Sept when he started university at . He had trouble finding a place. Hurricane Irene hit the east cost of U.S. at the end of August and his flight was delayed so he couldn't meet with the woman who might rent him a room. did not get the direct hit by Irene and my son got there only one day late and the woman finally decided to rent him a room, which was close to university. He only had to stay at a temporary place for 3 nights and was able to start school on the day of his return. Thank you for your prayers.
