Answered Prayers

It has been said there are three answers to our prayers: “yes,” “no” or “wait a while.”  However, underlying each and every answer is the silent promise, “I am here.”  Experience the power of God's love and feel the comfort of God’s presence in these true stories of answered prayer.

My daughter and I were not speaking and I asked for prayer to heal our relationship. The very next day after asking for you to pray I felt God so strongly telling me to reach out to her. I did and she was soooooo happy. She had been praying to. Thank you thank you thank you. I know there is power in praise and prayer. The healing has begun.

Good day! Thank you prayer warriors, thank you Lord for all the answered prayers, like my stomach problems. Thank you for guiding us and protection, physically, mentally, financially and emotionally. Thank you.

Thank you Lord that you are working behind the scenes on my behalf. Thank you for help at the store. Thank you for the hug I asked for and the person who stopped by to give me one. To God be the glory!

I have prayed for years for my son to be healed of his addiction and accept salvation from our Lord Jesus. He has been detoxing here for a week and I praise our God for bringing him to this point. Still believing that he will be totally healed of addictions and will accept salvation in Jesus our Lord. Praise Him!

I have been praying for a friend who, since the sudden death of her husband 2 years ago, has been searching for answers: where to live, which friends to stay near to, why am I still here on earth? She has traveled over the country, found widows/widowers support groups, visited old friends and family, and now feels called to answer a request for help from a young widowed friend in Florida whose mother is dying and father has dementia. Father, thank You for sending Linda there, as she feels she is fulfilling a purpose You have for her, and even thinks she may buy a house in that town where she also has other friends. You are faithful to lead us, Father, and I praise You and thank You for Your wonderful guidance, mercy and love for your children. In Jesus' name, amen.

I asked for prayers to make it to my son's games due to the fact I haven't been feeling well and I was able to make it. Thanks to all who prayed and thank you Lord!

my mom is gaining some strength. she can stay awake almost the whole day, and her leg infection is healing. it is a slow and painful process, and she has great discomfort at night, but she is so happy to know that she is being prayed for. We have made some progress and I know, and thank God in advance for, her complete recovery.

I prayed that my son would be accepted to the college he wanted to attend. His test scores weren't as high as they needed to be but he was accepted. Thank you God! I praise you for helping him become the young man he is and I pray daily that you will guide him as he enters this next phase of his life.

I've had a stressful week my car was in the shop and I couldn't work for 2 days and didn't know how I was going to pay the rent to keep from getting evicted but thank to all the prayers God gave me enough money on my paycheck to take care of both things. God is great!!!
