Answered Prayers

    Our daughter (a single mother of a 7 yr old boy), lost her job in June. This week our daughter's former employer hired her back. She has been a witness as she rested in a "hope that did not disappoint" while continuing to serve in music ministry and volunteering as church secretary.

    I had been in remission from Non Hodgekins Lymphoma and in January 2012 I was told by my physician that it had reoccured. I was devastated. I had a large tumor in my stomach. I was administered a biological medication in the vein and told to come back in 3 months. I wrote to you and ask for prayer and had my church members praying for me. I prayed and ask God for healing also. When I went back for the tests and consultation with my doctor. He said he was amazed that the tumor was gone. He said I did not have to take any more medications and he would see me in 6 months for a follow up and if I did not have any reocurrence I could wait a year for my next appointment. I have always believed in prayer and I know now if you ask for something you have to believe that the Lord is answering your prayer. I love to read the daily guideposts and get so much inspiration from them.

    A couple of years ago I asked for prayer for my son, Evan, who was, at that time, at -in Marine Officer Candidate School seeking to be accepted. He was going through circumstances that I never would have believed were part of the selection process. He made it and is a Marine Public Affairs Officer. Then a few months after that I asked prayer for he and his girlfriend to be drawn back to a closer walk with God. I just want to thank you for your prayers and report that God is so faithful! He and his now wife are stationed in Okinawa and together are making progressively fellowship with other believers a regular part of their schedule as well as endeavoring to personally follow God's leading. Thank you for your prayers and.....it is OK to keep praying for them: Evan and Jessica.

    I called recently as we'd been praying that our daughter, out of state, would be chosen for a particular teaching opportunity. It was exactly what she wanted (and needed) but heard it was unlikely because she has a Masters. She got the job; we're all thrilled and thankful. Thank you.

    I WENT ON CHAT AND THE LORD YES LET MY SON RECIEVE HIS DISABILITY ONE TIME SHOT AND THE LAWYER SAID WOW AMAZING AND I TOLD MY SON GOD IS GOD IS AND AS WE WERE WALKING OUT A LADY LOOKED TO US AND POINTED HER FINGER TO THE CIELING STATING AND SAYING HE AND I SAID YES GLORY TO GOD GOD BLESS YOU ALL MAUREEN JOHN SANDY ANGEL GRADY ALL ON CHAT ITS BEEN A AMAZING 4MONTHS WE HAVE SEEN PEOPLE LEAVE AND NOT COME TO OUR HOME WE HAVE SEEN FINACIAL FAVORS YES JOB FOR MY SON IN 4 MONTHS PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME

    Recently, I had my eyes on a 2 year old dog but he was adopted by another family. It made me sad to hear that I missed out on adopting him while I was at work. Since I regularly volunteer at the NSPCA, I get to walk and sit with the dogs while volunteering. During my regular Sat visit, the Lord blessed me with a puppy. I'm so happy with this puppy. She is beautiful and obedient. Plus, I don't feel like she was too much dog for me like the 2 year old dog I had my eye on. Nor is this puppy as aggressive as the 2 year old dog. This is a clear case of answered prayer for me as I asked OurPrayer to pray for me as well as other friends. The Lord has answered and I feel the dog I got in the end is the right one for me. I have also been praying for a friend of mine that I had an argument with a few months ago. She recently contacted me when her mother passed away. So I'm thankful that the Lord restored our friendship and I pray that Francine will come to recognize Jesus as her Lord and Saviour one day in the near future. Thank you for your prayers.

    My daugher and grandkids have been emotionally abused but God is good and has been watching over them. He continues to hold them all in the palm of HIs hands! Trust in the Lord for He is good...His love is everlasting!
