- June 17, 2013I was at work tonight, waitressing, when i got a table of one. a woman who looked very shaken up and puffy eyed sat down and ordered a glass of wine. she then ordered her food and another glass of wine in between sobs and proceeded to say "I'm so sorry, my father and i were supposed to come here tonight for father's day, but he died last night." i immediately offered my condolences and brought her wine then whisked off to the bathroom before i started crying. i started praying harder than i ever have before. I sat down and talked to her while she ate. she was all alone until her brother came up for the funeral. i told her i would be praying for her and her family. she couldn't stop thanking me and apologizing. i pray that she got home safe and that she may know that she is never alone. that God is always here. I pray for her healing in this time of grief. My heart has been aching for this woman. I have not stopped praying. please help me pray for her. thank youBy Heather
