OurPrayer is a community of faith comforting people through the power of prayer. Our team of over 3,500 volunteers lifts the concerns of others in prayer by name and need. Witness the blessings of intercessory prayer in the testimonials below and learn how you can become a volunteer.
Just wanted to tell you how blessed it is to be a part of the team writing Personal Prayer Responses. For a long time I have thought how we need to be on the Internet to have a positive effect to combat the negative ones. It's a dream come true. All of you in the prayer ministry are to be commended. It's a wonderful ministry. In fact OurPrayer is an unbelievable ministry, worldwide. I've enjoyed Guideposts magazine for many years. I never dreamed I would someday be involved with their prayer outreach. Thanks to God and to OurPrayer for the opportunity. —Dorothy
I praise God for the power and joy I receive in doing this work. I have fulfillment in my life that I have never known before. I am so blessed by praying for others who are hurting so badly. I feel as though I am personally helping every one of them. I wish to pray that God continues to lead me and other volunteers to help those who request prayer, to the best of our ability. May God bless each volunteer and the OurPrayer staff as we spread God's love. —Joyce
I wasn't sure I could be effective as a prayer-partner, but I decided to step out in faith and try it. From the beginning, it has been a joy to reach out with loving care to those who call for prayer. Sometimes I feel that I'm receiving more out of sharing with them, than anyone. But I have learned from experience that one can never, never out-give our Lord. —Jane
I would just like to say that being part of the prayer team with OurPrayer has been a real blessing in my life. It gives me a sense of the big picture of what God is doing in the lives of a lot of people. It is encouraging to hear testimonies of answered prayer and to find out really what a lifeline this service is for people out there. —Betty
