It teaches that when we have done all that we can do about a given matter, we are not to get worried or in a panic or be filled with anxiety, but take a calm philosophical attitude concerning it. When you have done all that you can do, don't try to do any more, just "stand." Relax, stop. Be quiet, don't fuss about it; you have done everything possible. Leave the results to God.
