Baseball Cookies

Batter up! Celebrate the start of the World Series with this fun treat.

This recipe is a fun way to bring the family together, and to get everyone ready for the World Series!

Ingredients

1 cup butter

2 cups white sugar

½ cup sour cream

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

4½ cups flour

4 teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

Glaze
2 cups powdered sugar

2 tablespoons milk

1 tablespoon light corn syrup

Red decorator gel

Preparation

1. Cream butter, sugar, sour cream. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together; add to wet. Chill dough for a few hours.

2. Preheat oven to 350°F. Roll out dough and cut with round cookie cutter. Bake 5-7 minutes. Let cool.

Glaze
1. Mix sugar, milk and corn syrup together. Glaze cookies and let stand.

2. Add baseball stitching with red gel.
