If you like cannoli, you’re going to love this perfect guilt-free alternative to the real thing!
Want to do something special for mom this Mother's Day? Whip up a batch of this guilt-free recipe that's sure to show her just how much you really do care.
Ingredients
1 cup all-natural low-fat ricotta cheese, drained
1 tablespoon amaretto-flavored agave nectar
1 tablespoon 70% cocoa mini dark chocolate chunks, coarsely chopped
4 naturally sweetened
Wheat sugar cones, like Let’s Do…Organic
Preparation
1. Using a whisk, mix the ricotta, agave and ½ tablespoon of the chocolate till combined.
2. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow filling to chill and flavors to meld.
3. Divide ricotta mixture evenly among the four cones (about ¼ cup each). Sprinkle remaining chocolate pieces evenly over cones. Serve immediately.
Serves 4
