Maggie, I've been through the blackest,coldest,depths of hell.I learned,God helps at times,but when some things are so bad,I've contacted every person,organization,all government officials,from lowest to highest in power,begging and demanding that they help me.If they couldn't,than I'd ask the person,"Who can".I've spent years and tears phoning,fighting and kept paperwork of names,places and numbers I've contacted and details of the conversations.I won many battles like that.The fact is most don't give a damn,but sometimes you find someone who cares and tries to help.You win some and lose some."Don,t give up"!! Try churches,all disability organizations etc.You'll end up feeling more powerful about yourself.I,now can stand my ground when dealing with the"Big Suits".They are no better than me,some are a lot less.You have nothing to lose.Good Luck and God bless you......Shirley

I wil pray for you, God won't let you down. We may not think he always listens but, trust me he does.
I can't help you, but I will pray for you. I am on disability myself and just had my gas turned off yesterday and it is cold here 30's last night. I feel your pain and frustration as I also have to move and am not finding a place. I am on HUD and am in a house with the floors are falling in, along with leaks, and my utility bills are high. I have gas heat,but also have an old furnace that runs a lot trying to warm the place, so that runs the electric bill up also. I have a shut off notice on it.....Maggie
