I'm very disappointed that you would choose to include and interview with Christine Chenoweth in Guideposts. Her decision to participate in the TV show Good Christian B-----s (now retitled to "Good Christian Belles" because of the protests about its title and content) which mocks Christianity, has foul language, is morally disturbing, and shows Christians in a very negative light, is very disheartening to me. I'm having a difficult time understanding how as a person of faith, she would choose to be involved with a project such as this. I am equally disappointed in Guideposts for publishing this article. I have been a subscriber for many years, but am seriously considering cancelling my subscription.
The show, G.C.B, in which Chenoweth will star on ABC is set to air early next year and mocks Christians as morally depraved. The title of the show was originally called, "Good Christian B.(Expletive)." This show demonstrates ABC's continued bigotry and intolerance towards people of faith and should be pulled for maligning a specific religous group. Earlier this year, The American Family Association called for a boycott of this show. I can't believe Kristin Chenoweth will actually be on this show!

This is a devastating disease, particularly to those in music. However, please don't discount the low sodium diet. Following the low sodium diet has been a life-saver for me. As long as I keep the sodium under 2000 mg per day, my ear is fine. If I overdo the sodium, the roaring and ringing will come back. He also prescribed Triamterene (diuretic) twice per day to help rid my body of excessive salt. I am symptom free and thankful to God for a doctor who wouldn't give up, who also believes in God, and who is a church musician and understood the frustration for me -- I sing and lead our church choir. Following the diet is difficult, but well worth it.
I read Kristen's article in your October issue of Guideposts. She mention that she suffers from Meniere's disease. My daughter had this disease for 3 years, suffering just as Kristen described in her article. My daughter finally went to an Upper Cervical Care doctor. Her life was totally turned around. My daughter is a nurse and she did just as Kristen, went to many doctors with no help. (the low sodium diet does not help) I want to let Kristen know there is an Upper Cervical Care doctor in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I live in Missouri and I get nothing out of this, but knowing Kristen is going to receive help. He also has a practice in Branson, MO and I have gone to him and his wife (who is also a doctor). I don't know their phone number in Oklahoma, but his Branson office can give her that information. The number is 417-339-0111. This is vital information for Kristen. My daughter, who is also a minister's wife, has in the past had to lay down wherever she was, church, work, etc., when the vertigo would hit her. I know what Kristen is going through. Please see that she gets this message.
