I thought that was nice too. There's a nice scripture about entertaining strangers in the Holy Bible and we all know what that is. Also the good samaritan who helped the person who was beaten by thieves. I can identify with that having that unpleasant experience too. Being choked and not knowing if I was going to be raped or not. Since my arms and legs were tied with leather straps. If that's not thieves I don't know what it is. But at least the Lord has brought me through it and I would like thank for that.
River Jordan's way of praying for people every day is wonderful. I sometimes do it a different way. I have an idea or feeling to pray for a person, I do not know them or where they are. I just say this prayer is for a child sufering in a burn center, or from cemo therapy. This is for an abused child or one starving, or in pain. I like to say this is for a child in a hospital the the parents can not be there give the child the comfor they need and put your arms around them. Let them know that you are there that they are loved. This prayer is for somone dying today that needs my prayer. This is for somone that has been in a bad accident and needs my prayer. This prayer is for somone descouraged and sufering from cancer.
I just need to be aware of other people and their situation to pray for them. Some people do not watch the news as it is too depressing. I frequently pray for the man that did the shooting. The officer that waws killed and comfor and suport for his family. The girl that fell on the mountain. The fire fighters and policeman that are in that situation right now at theis breaking news.
I felt a need to share this. I do not know the results of my random prayers but feel somehow it is said at the right time for the right person and surly must have a posative effect.
