What we choose to focus on can put us on a powerful path to success.

“What you focus on is what you attract into your life,” says author Margie Warrell. As you begin your new year’s journey, pause and ask yourself, what is my focus? Is it health, family, faith, career or retirement? The answer will reveal the trajectory of your personal and spiritual voyage.
What we focus on is our choice. It can inspire or deplete us. So why not focus on a future that inspires you to make the most of your gifts, talents, faith and love in the world? Decide on a future that motivates you to get up every morning and makes you eager to do amazing things with your creative and energetic self. Raise the bar of expectation for yourself and reach it. Turn ordinary days into extraordinary days. Author and life coach Tony Robbins says, “The only thing keeping you from getting what you want is the story you keep telling yourself about what you can’t have.”
Having a future full of hope and possibilities inspires us to live a purposeful life. If you are uncertain about what you should focus on, seek guidance from God through prayer and ask for counsel from those who know you well. Look within. Most of what we want and hope for is in our reach.
Lord, please provide me with a vision for a bigger and brighter future than I could have ever imagined and the strength to achieve it.
