This snack mix is great for your Super Bowl party—or any day of the week!
Whether you have a salty or sweet tooth, this treat will satisfy your taste buds. The long cooking time is well worth it.
|3 c. Rice Chex||3 c. Wheat Chex|
|3 c. Corn Chex||3 c. Kix|
|3 c. Cheerios||3 c. thin pretzels|
|1 lb. mixed nuts (3 c.)||½ lb. party peanuts (1 ⅔ c.)|
|½ c. canola oil||½ c. bacon fat, melted|
|½ c. butter, melted||2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce|
|1 Tbsp. allspice||1 tsp. celery salt|
|1 Tbsp. Accent flavor enhancer (optional)||1 ½ tsp. garlic powder|
|¼ tsp. red pepper (optional)|
1. Preheat oven to 200°F. Place all dry ingredients in a large roasting pan.
2. Mix oils, Worcestershire sauce and spices, pour over dry ingredients and stir well.
3. Bake for four hours, basting every 20 minutes.
Serves several dozen
