A trip to Norway. A seven-day cruise on a ferry up the Norwegian coast. A chance to see the deep blue fjords, the snow-dusted peaks, the soft green fields. And in late June and early July when the sun never sets.
It all came about two years ago when my wife, Carol, and I were talking to Fred, our college classmate, who said, “Let’s take a trip together. Go someplace we’ve never been before.” We started out in Oslo and ended up in Kirkenes, far above the Arctic Circle. It was beautiful. But don’t take my word for it. Let these pictures speak.
A trip to Norway means diving into deep fjord waters.
The parable of the “lost sheep” on the hills about Geirangerfjord.
We found some German tourists to take our picture (we didn’t go paragliding!).
“From the rising to the setting of the sun, the name of the LORD is to be praised.” Psalm 113:3
