Majesty of the Seas

How you can travel with Guideposts on a cruise to the Bahamas.

Now that it’s been warmish all week, I promised my girls we’d go up in the attic and dig out their summer clothes.

For seven-year-old Evangeline, going up in the attic for clothes is like going on an in-house shopping spree, thanks to hand-me-downs from her big sister and older girl cousins. Pull it brand-new off a rack or broken in out of a storage box, it’s all the same to Evie. And if it’s pink or sparkly, well, what could be better!

The attic will no doubt hold a few things that still fit Louisiana from last summer, but she’ll refuse to wear them. “Mom, I’m twelve,” she’ll say. “That shirt was okay last year when I was eleven, but…”

As usual, the change of seasons will mean a trip to the mall for us. And this year the three of us need new bathing suits for our dreamy cruise.

GUIDEPOSTS is sending the girls and me on a four-night “Bask in the Bahamas” cruise, July 12-16, where I’ll play host to friends and fans of GUIDEPOSTS and ANGELS ON EARTH who want to join the fun.

The Royal Caribbean cruise lines’ Majesty of the Seas sails out of Miami, and we look forward to meeting as many of you as can join us for an angelic adventure on the high seas. I hope you’re considering it. Lulu and Evie keep asking how many friends have signed up. To book your reservation or get more info, go to

Check out our ship! I can hardly believe I’m really going.
