We’re already thinking about Christmas. Have a story you’d like to tell the world? It’s definitely not too early.

This afternoon the editors are getting together to plan the August issue of Guideposts. Tomorrow we’ll discuss which stories will fit best in the July/August issue of Angels. In the magazine business, scheduling ahead is the rule. Besides, we want to get a jump on things so we clear even more time this summer to devote to our fifth edition of the full-size special interest publication The Joys of Christmas.
In this year’s holiday special we’ve already decided to feature the Joys of God’s Love, the Family Table, Our American Troops and Nostalgia. The topics alone have thrown me into the Christmas spirit! And as long as I’m working on The Joys of Christmas, you’ll always find stories of Christmas angels.
If you have a Christmas story you’d like to tell the world, please send it to me at Guideposts, 16 E 34th St., New York, NY 10016, or firstname.lastname@example.org. It’s definitely not too early.
My editorial calendar usually puts me at Christmas sometime in July. Already I’m having to remind myself that mid-March is not a time to worry about holiday shopping. Oh, but it is time to wish you a happy St. Patrick’s Day!
